Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Octavia is a sassy 7 month old kitten who's full of quirks and character. Octavia started off skittish around humans and her first instinct was to run away. But after weeks of kitty boot camp and training in her foster home, she has had many breakthroughs and will keep getting better in the right home. Despite her occasional shyness, Octavia is always curious and likes to be where the action is, whether it's in the kitchen or watching TV. If you catch her in the right mood, she can't get enough pets and has even become a lap cat at times.
In play mode, Octavia is very animated and loves playing with her pink, plastic spoon and wand toys. She likes wrestling and playing with her foster family's cat and she peacefully coexists with their bird and calm dog. She's very vocal and goes nuts for wet food which has been an effective tool in getting her to trust people. We feel she'd do best in a quiet household with a patient owner. Although still a work-in-progress, we are confident the best of Octavia is yet to come.
Octavia has been spayed, microchipped, she is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. The adoption fee is $100.
If you are interested in meeting Octavia or any of our kittens, please click on the "Ask About" button on this page and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.
Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
