My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kaye! At 3 years old, she was rescued from Devore Shelter by the Kitty Devore Rescue team in January of 2018. After a week in her foster home, Kaye was taken to the vet for her shots… SURPRISE, SURPRISE the vet discovered Kaye was in the early stages of pregnancy! While this came as a shock to her foster mom, it turned out to be the greatest journey to experience with this adorable, loving little girl. Our Sweet Baby Kaye was to become Momma Kaye!

All through her pregnancy, she loved being held and her belly rubbed. When the evening came for her to deliver, she did not run and hide to be alone. She insisted her foster mom be right there with her. Kaye gave birth to two cute little boys, Kixx and Ronnie (Momma Kaye enjoys listening to country music, so the boys were named after Brooks & Dunn). She was a wonderful mommy and took great care of her boys. Both boys have been adopted into their new forever homes and she is back to being her foster mom’s Sweet Baby Kaye.

Kaye has a mild autoimmune condition that may periodically require a cortisone shot, if symptoms start to appear.

Kaye loves people, including children. She would be great in a home of someone retired, or a family with children. She has not had any exposure to dogs, but her foster mom believes she would do well given a slow introduction period. She would be okay with another kitty, if they are non-aggressive. Most of all Sweet Baby Kaye just wants a human to love her. She will bring joy and love into any home.
