Austin is a male Bichon Frise/Poodle approximately 1 year old. He has a very bright white coat of curls that are super soft and fluffy. Austin's coat is luxurious and completely non-shedding. He has adorable markings around his eyes, with one eye surrounded by black "eyeliner" and one eye spotted white. Austin is a healthy 18 pounds currently. He is a sweet dog who likes a gentle touch and tons of pampering. Austin looks to people for direction and comfort and his innocent nature is completely endearing. He has completed canine obedience level 1 and knows how to sit, shake, high five, kiss, and sit at the curb before crossing the street. He walks very well on leash and is housebroken. Austin is good with other dogs and might do well with another well-adjusted dog in the home who can show him the ropes and who he can learn from. He is interested in toys and is adorable discovering that he can have fun with them! He loves to play fetch and watching the ball roll around, and also chasing it. Austin is attentive and loves treats and will listen to you when you talk to him. He is a good eater and not picky. He really seems to like being held close and cuddled and is a real snuggle bunny. Austin is still in the process of blossoming into an adult dog and has tons of potential. With some gentle loving and a stable environment this young pup is going to make a very loyal and devoted companion. He has had a rough beginning and is not recommended for children since he will be too overwhelmed. He will do best as a one or two person dog where he can bond closely and put his all his trust in one (or two) individuals. Austin will be your best friend for life. Austin is ready for his new forever home today!
Austin’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Austin is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Vicki and Cecil and is ready for his forever home.
