Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jazzy. She is approximately 8 years old and weighs 6.8 lbs. She is being fostered in Jacksonville, FL. Her adoption fee is $175.
UPDATED BIO 04/20/2018: Jazzy is recuperating nicely in her foster home and is slowly getting to know her fur-brother and sister. As soon as she has physically and emotionally recovered from losing the 4 puppies she gave birth to only days after being rescued, she will return to the vet for her dental, spay and other necessary medical intervention. Although Jazzy lost the pups, she is gradually learning what it is like to be loved and spoiled. Luckily, she will never have another litter and can just spend time learning how to be loved the way it should have always been.
LATE UPDATE! Jazzy is Heartworm negative. We are all very thankful for this news!
PLEASE NOTE the following special circumstances:
- Please be patient with our process in considering adoption applications for Jazzy as our primary interest is supporting her during her recovery. Our main goal at this time is getting Jazzy healthy so that she can continue to enjoy a wonderful life in a loving, forever home.
- UYR is reaching out to our friends, supporters and generous donors in the hopes of raising the thousands of dollars it will cost our group to get Jazzy healthy, as well as the 9 other dogs from the same hoarding/backyard breeding situation. They not only need to have their vaccinations updated, be neutered or spayed and have extensive labs, but they also need to emotionally heal from years of neglect. For the ones that are HW+, they will soon begin treatment which will last 4-5 months. If you have been moved by Jazzy's story and her courage and resilience, please consider making a donation to UYR to cover vetting expenses and support our organization as we begin the long process of rehabilitating these precious little dogs.
