Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dream dog are the 2 words that come to mind when trying to describe Mazzy Star. This pup is about as perfect as they come. She's an affectionate snuggle bug who loves to lay on the couch and be pet (but don't stop or she'll paw you for more). When she's not next to her humans she loves to burrow all 12lbs in a small blanket. Mazzy is a laid back 9yo and would be great in just about any home that is confident in being able to provide for all her medical needs. Mazzy had a long journey to wellness. She had 5 mammary tumors removed & biopsied, 3 hernias repaired, a dental cleaning and was spayed. Some of her tumors turned out to be carcinomas which did not require further treatment but will need vigilance. She will need to be monitored at home for any new growths and visit her vet twice a year (vs. the usual yearly exam) along with have chest x-rays . Mazzy also has a grade 3/6 heart murmur which currently doesn't require any treatment but it's important to keep her weight down. She is currently being fostered with other small dogs and is not a fan of cats.
Mazzy is spayed, housebroken, vaccinated, microchipped.
