Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Faith is one of those rare super shy dogs who come our way.For whatever reason some dogs are just this way,but can overcome it to an extent with the right people to help them along. She has already made baby steps and comes and goes inside and out without me having to carry her(thank goodness!!). Now that the weather is getting nice,Faith has a great time in the yard playing with toys, chasing squirrels,or just soaking up some sun. She does love other dogs, but there was a food aggression incident where we believe she should be an only pet. She allows all petting and seems to enjoy it,but about the only time you can do this is when she's in her crate. We assume she's housebroken, but she has not had the nerve to be anywhere but in her crate when housed. She did venture out once, but was chased back in by a feisty chihuahua.Faith is a chubby 53 lbs and 7 yrs old and does seem to have a bit of arthritis, which mainly affects her after she's been laying around awhile, and yet runs around the yard with no problem at other times.I have had her for about 3 wks and have never heard her bark,SUCH a quiet girl!! Faith will ABSOLUTELY need a fenced yard, scared dogs will run for the hills first chance they get especially in a new place. She needs someone who is prepared for her shyness and willing to work with it,and accept that she will probably never be an outgoing dog.Maybe this is you? If you are interested in Faith, please email at bser321@aol.com. We are looking for a very special, loving and patient home to help Faith know she is loved, please call Ray at 815-483-0592.
