My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyson is a 6 year old, neutered male Weimaraner. He has been being cared for by a family in Northern California (Orland) for almost a year now while his family was getting life situated out of state. Unfortunately, life didn't go as planned and he is looking for a new FOREVER family to call his own. He gets along well with other dogs big and small after some "get to know each other" time. He would love a weim familiar family that is home a good portion of the day, as he hates to be away from his people. He is not a fan of cats of other small pets(small dogs excluded) and will chase them if they run. He loves to chase a ball or other toy and play tug-o-war, swim, go for walks or just hang out in the yard with everyone. He loves kids, but doesn't realize his size at times and may knock over little ones. He's a very smart and good boy. He is potty trained and will not get on the furniture unless you tell him it's OK to do so.
If you or someone you know might be interested in making this handsome, loving, velcro , slightly neurotic goofball their own, please let us know! A few more things about him...... He's NOT a hunting dog. He loves fetch and tug-o-war. He likes accompanying you everywhere, even to the bathroom. Sometimes follows so close you get flat tired. He's not cat friendly. He likes other dogs once he gets to know them a little. His current bff is a weenie. He loves to snuggle. He's the biggest lap dog you'll find. He hates being alone, but will tolerate for short periods .
