5/8/15 Hana has now been spayed and she is ready to be adopted. She plans to attend the Springfield adoption event on Saturday, May 16.

4/27/15 Dogs are the best! I just love other dogs – don’t you? Hello, I’m Hana, a Dutch shepherd/GSD mix. I am 6 months old and really pretty, and I am being fostered in Arlington after being picked up as a stray in North Carolina. I am young and smart and figuring things out pretty quickly – stuff like, when we get the leash and go for a walk, I might see some of my doggie friends and get to play with them! People still scare me a little but I’m getting better. And I have a really good authoritative bark – WOOF!

I will be a great dog-park dog and maybe a good running buddy too once I’m a little bit older. I plan to attend adoption events in Northern Virginia as soon as I am spayed, so please come meet me and think about taking me home to be your new best buddy. Just ask for me, Hana Banana!
