Hi!  My name is Vinnie and my foster parents think it is so funny!  They say "Yo Vinny!" like from the movie my Cousin Vinny.  I am about 6 years old, a bit thin and very nice.  I like all the house dogs except for the foster Wonder who is a little strange.  I listen to my foster parents and will stop doing any unwanted behavior like peeing on their bushes with a verbal No.  I like my cushy bed, much nicer than the bed at the shelter and the food is good here. I wag my tail really hard and while I was at the shelter, I wagged it so hard I made a sore on it.  Now its wrapped up so it will heal. I was limping so I went to the doctor and they said my right hip looked really yucky so they fixed it. They cut the ball of my femur off so it won't hurt anymore. I am recuperating now and the doctor says I should be back to about 100% in about 4 weeks.   I am hoping to find my forever home with someone that will spend time with me, teach me some basics and just let me be part of the family.  I love being petted and brushed...feels good!  Let me be part of your family- I am a really nice pup!

Vinnie is currently recovering from FHO surgery and should be ready for adoption around the middle of January 2017.

4 Jan 2017. Today I had my stitches, staples and that cone removed, I will be attending the Manassas adoption event on Saturday.
