My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny and Teddy are a sweet bonded pair. They are typical nervous Chihuahuas when they first meet people but give a little bit of time and understanding they warm up and just want nothing but love.

Penny came to us severely overweight so we have been working with her to shed the extra pounds. Her new family would have to understand her dietary needs and be willing to stick with her weight loss journey no matter how much she uses her sad puppy eyes to convince them otherwise.

Penny and Teddy have been together most of their lives and are very bonded so they have to be adopted together.

Penny and Teddy are both around 7 years old as of 04/18/18

If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to set up an appointment. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately.

Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen for me so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues that could hurt me. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered.

The adoption fee is $400 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Like us on Facebook!!
