My story

Hi there - I’m Eddie! I am a Shepherd mix who is 6 or 7 years old, but I’m definitely young at heart! I’m a good boy looking for the perfect family with lots of energy to play! I’m a super athletic guy and would make the perfect running buddy.

I like to play with my doggy friends, I’m great with kids AND I’ve yet to meet a person I don’t love! I know basic commands and am very smart. I’m always up for learning new tricks, especially if you have cookies. I’m crate trained, house trained and basically the best boy!

I do get bored and lonely when left by myself and would fit best in a home with dogs or kids to play with or a family that works from home.

I will go in the crate, but get very anxious. I won’t break out of the crate, but when I’m finally free again I have lots of extra energy! When left out in a room with just my toys I did ruin the carpeting once. I will require some extra patience.

Our background- my husband and I care for Eddie deeply, but just don’t have the time to spend with him that he deserves. Both of our jobs require long hours and frequent travel. It saddens us to rehome him, but we think that it will ultimately be the best choice for him. We want him to have a home that he he’s the happiest because he is an INCREDIBLE dog that loves unconditionally.
