Hello. I saw Sammy in a pet store window and fell in love! He has been treated like a king ever since. He is very sweet and very loving. Years ago I would bring him into special needs classrooms. Even at 8, he has lots of energy and yet at the same time he is perfectly happy sitting (and sleeping!) with you. Except for the occasional ear infection, he is very healthy. He has lived with cats and dogs, children and the elderly. He has only lived in a house where his yard is his kingdom. We had to move into an apartment and he is not adjusting well. He tends to bark at other dogs (with his tail wagging) because he wants to play. Unfortunately, because he is a tall, skinny, 90 pound dog many people do not find it cute and they have mentioned it to management. He is not aggressive at all. I don't want his remaining years to be like this. It's really not fair to him. He needs a home (preferably a home owner with a small yard) who knows how to handle a bigger dog.
