From corner dweller to cuddlebug, here's Rosco. Hardly the same scared pup he was when he came in, he now greets us at his gate, and lets us know that while he appreciates the food and love, he's ready for a fresh start!

Rosco is the victim of another "living situation", but we're going to make sure he gets his furever home this time around, right? Good with dogs, cats, and children of various ages, is crate trained, and lets you know when it's time go potty. And he likes to be held, so, let's face it, you may never put him down once you pick him up. C'mon, how much convincing do you really need?

Come meet me today at Jackson County Animal Shelter in Jackson, Michigan, USA! **All dog adoptions require an application**. Availability date shown is when the cat or dog becomes JCAS property; any necessary medical procedures may slightly postpone an adoption. **For dogs, a meet & greet with your dog is mandatory**. A cat room walk-through is available to test reaction.

PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL ANIMALS ARE ON THE WEBSITE. IF YOU ARE MISSING YOUR PET, PLEASE COME THE SHELTER TO SEE IF YOUR PET IS HERE.

Adoption costs:
Cat/kitten: $90, second cat/kitten for $1. There may be an additional $50 refundable spay/neuter fee for kittens too young to be spayed/neutered at time of adoption.
Dog: $150 plus dog license fee.

Adoption fees include vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm check (for dogs), feline leukemia check (for cats), rabies vaccination, and deworming. Pets have also been treated for fleas and ticks. Some pets may have had other veterinary treatment as needed.
