Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is a very sweet and loyal Australian Red Heeler. She loves her selected people and is very protective of them. House trained, sleeps well in a kennel at night prefers to be outside as much as she can so she can run. She will require a large yard or farm.
She is very typical of her breed. Ultra smart and learns quickly. She does not like strangers and can be extremely protective of her people when a stranger is present. Good with older children but has a tendency to "herd" younger children. We are looking for a good home with a person experienced with the Heeler breed for our sweet girl. We can no longer keep her at our home in town. She needs more space than we can provide and her protective nature has become a problem.
She is fine with strangers when introduced properly inside the house however she can be quite territorial outside. If you're looking for a sweet protective dog Abby's your girl. We are open to transporting her to the right home. Please give some thought to Abby we really do need a new home for her.
