My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tufty is such a good-natured, sweet and loving terrier mix. He has energy and exuberance when playing with other dogs and gets along with dogs of all sizes and tempermants (foster has a 14 yr old Westie that gets a little grumbly if Tufty jumps around and tries to get him to play when he doesn’t want to, but Tufty catches on quick and will leave him alone and not keep bothering him)

He doesn’t jump on people, but will stand on his hind legs like a little circus dog. Maybe this guy ran away from the circus, and before each show, they would shine his beach ball that he danced on and send him to hair and makeup where they would comb his fur, give him a clown collar, and carefully curl the little tuft of fur on the top of his head and put sparkle dust on it. Tufty gets very excited when he hears this story, so it must be close to the truth. 😊

Tufty is about 2 yrs old and 15 lbs, he’s okay with being in a crate, although is housebroken and now sleeps in the foster’s bedroom. He sleeps in the dog bed with he step brother- 50lb “Texas Beagle”---they are best friends. He has wiry terrier hair, doesn’t shed and it stays short, so he does not need much grooming. He is currently being treated for heartworm—fortunately he is not symptomatic so he should be as good as new after treatment!! 😍🐶❤️
