I am sadly needing to re-home my sweet 12 year old cat. I travel just far too often and feel it's unfair to her to be kept in my home without someone to pet her more regularly. She has a bit of anxiety, I believe from my traveling so much, and needs to find someone who is home more often, meaning a regulary 9-5 person and not me who has a VERY irregular schedule. She is very healthy, eats well, uses the litter box only. I feed her wet food only (the good kind in the small cans) and I leave out dry food in case she's interested, which she nibbles at. She's a small kitty at just 7 pounds. She is not mean at all and has never bit or scratched anyone ever. She is shy and will hide from people she doesn't know. In the beginning of you owning her she will probably hide and be scared for a couple days. I would suggest putting her in a room with food and a potty and go in and visit her. She doesn't tear up furniture. I have a couple scratching posts for her and she uses them occasionally.
