Lilly is a lovely, petite, 8 year old yellow lab; Lilly is half of the “Lilly-and-Maple” bonded pair surrendered to our shelter. Lilly and Maple formerly lived with adults, children, and other pets; they know “sit,” “shake,” and “lay down;” Lilly and Maple were surrendered to us because circumstances changed, so both dogs have to be re-homed. In their individual kennels Lilly and Maple stand facing each other, sending secret signals across the middle aisle; they wait for one another when being led outside, and love to jog side by side in the play yard; Maple, the bigger chocolate lab, often finds a toy in the yard and uses it to lure Lilly into chasing her. It’s hard to think about these dogs separately because it’s such a treat and so lovely to share their company together. If you can’t imagine the world without peas and carrots, peanut butter and jelly, or even oreo cookies and milk then perhaps you know what we mean--some things just have to go together--to wrap your arms around Lilly and Maple contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
