Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Dasani and her 11 puppies were surrendered to a high kill shelter in Alabama. A rescue pulled Dasani and her puppies and adopted out all the pups into great homes. After Dasani’s puppies were all gone the same rescue abandoned Dasani and refused to care for her. She was once again let down and felt unwanted by people.

We, have stepped up and taken Dasani in. We will NOT let her down and will NEVER abandon her. She is such a deserving soul and has been patiently waiting for her opportunity.

Dasani has an outgoing personality and really loves to play and go for walks. She does well with other dogs her size. We prefer her to go to an experienced dog owner. She is currently in a foster home with two children, ages 8 and 12. She has little experience with younger children, but does especially well with older children. She is still working on house manners, but really likes to make her people happy so she will work hard to please. Dasani could benefit from puppy classes and a Good Samaritan course. She is really eager to learn. The vets say she is around 4 years old. She is healthy and fully vetted. Please contact us to speak to her foster.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.

ADOPTION FEE: Covers age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and health certificate.

We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
