My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is a 2-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Rufus weighs 64 pounds and is up to date on shots.

Rufus is a happy pup who is a little shy when he first meets you. He gets over this as soon as he figures out that you are friendly and more important have treats Once he knows you he greets you with a wagging tail. He will go investigates toys and brings them back once in a while. Rufus would like to be adopted by a family that will give him play time, training and exercise. He needs a fenced yard. He will some lucky family very happy.

He is approved for kids 10 and up. Good with other dogs has been out with other LR pups at the kennel with no problems. Reported as good with outside cats. Knows sit, come down. Will have a training addendum. Pulls on lead a little when walking better with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained, may be house trained as he is keeping his room clean at the kennel. He loves water, he had a kiddie pool in in the summer and would jump in and out of it. He also loves to play fetch.

UPDATE: Rufus is a great dog but, is on the shy side He is great with everyone at doggie day care. He does great in group play and with all of the staff. Since Rufus is shy, as with most shy dogs, you have to let Rufus get to know you on his time. Once he knows you are a good person, he will be your buddy for life.
