Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, My name is Duncan. I'm pure lovable and a snugglebug. I'll wrap my arms around you and rock you to sleep!
I am 2 years old and am a very healthy Staffordshire Terrier. I was saved from a bad man who left me alone for days at a time and beat me for peeing and pooing on the floor, but I am now 100% potty trained and leash trained and looking for an active family with a yard.
I am great with other dogs and love to play but also want to cuddle with you on the couch. I am also good with children, but because I am big and young, older children are probably better. I have lots of love to give and hope you will consider adopting me.
.
I'm also microchipped and would be an excellent EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL.

Emotional Support Animals (ESA)
Emotional Support Animals are not required to undergo specialized training. They can be dogs, cats, exotics, birds. Their primary role is to provide their owners with emotional comfort. Emotional support animals can benefit a disabled individual psychologically. The basic gift of companionship and unconditional affection can be the therapy needed to counter a condition like debilitating depression or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA). People meeting the proper criteria are entitled to an ESA to assist them with life. The FHAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to live with them regardless of breed (even with no pet policies). The ACAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to fly with them in the cabin of an airplane without having to pay additional fees. ESAs are not required to be professionally trained. An owner can train the pet. A letter of need written by a mental health counselor may be required for those wanting to transport via plane or for landlords.
