My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzy is a special, special girl, and she's going to need a special family to love her forever! She is a 2 year old, special needs pointer.

It is believed that she had distemper as a puppy, this caused some neurological ticks. She bobs when she walks, almost like she's dancing. She falls asleep in the oddest, most adorable positions, and eats laying down. The distemper also caused the enamel to never form on her adult teeth- she had a few removed, and the rest were left because they are still stable and aren't causing pain- they just aren't sparkly white! She takes CBD oil for appetite stimulation and to minimize the ticks (approx $20 a month).

With all of that being said, she is the sweetest, most loving dog. She plays well with other dogs, and kids. She does best with a k9 companion, but will need one that isn't so rowdy that they will knock her over.

She is capable of living with a few stairs, but she's a bit too bouncy to go up a flight of stairs.

She would love a family that will take her on walks and give her all the love in the world. She was so loved and spoiled in her last home, but sadly lost her dad. We will honor him by making sure that his girl is loved dearly for the rest of her days.

She's always up for an adventure, playing, and listening to music <3
