My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Monty! I am a handsome, 12 year old black and white purebred Jack Russell Terrier who is a member of the 3R Rescue SUPER SENIOR CLUB.

I have quite a resume including my AKC and UKC titles and championships in agility. My life was great until about 2 years ago when my mom’s house burned down in the Napa fire. Then several months later the place we moved to in a completely different town several miles away had to be evacuated because of another fire. My Jack Russell sister and I were separated from our human mom for several months because she had to move to a place where they didn’t allow dogs (Go figure). Then the break we had been waiting for. They found a place where we could all live together. Our first night was great until the morning when our mom was taken to Heaven. So now I’m looking for a new home and a family who will love me for the rest of my years.

I still love to go for walks and rides in the car. I also love to chase the ball. I know all my basic commands from my years of showing. I also still enjoy trotting through the agility course (Just to show off around the young pups) at my foster home. I know several tricks and will greet you with a big smile when you come home. Of course I am house-trained and have excellent house manners. So what are you waiting for? Skip the young pups that will tear up your favorite pair of shoes and take me home!
