Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cheeka is a sweet girl and is the mother to Goldie, who is also here at the rescue. Cheeka came to the rescue from another shelter in Tennessee where she was surrendered and had lived almost her entire life outside previously. Cheeka loves all people and she loves to play with other dogs. As an old gal, she also appreciates a good cuddle and snuggle sesh. Cheeka is about 7 years old and weighs about 67 pounds.

An approved adoption application is required. The $250 adoption fee (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
