My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tango is a Lhasa Apso. Tango is a really cool dog. He's been though a lot. He recently lost his mom on March 19th. She had him since he was a puppy and he's 8 1/2 years old now. I know beyond any doubt that God brought us into Tango lives and into Tango's hurting families life. When the family arrived at our place it was so special and touching. We actually are friends of some of their friends. Really small world.

Tango currently has a bad broken heart, but we think he will adjust nicely. All he would like is a retired couple/person by his side. Someone to go on short walks, and especially sit on their lap or be close by. He could stand to lose a couple of pounds. He weights a little over 20 pounds. He has been neutered and is all up to date with all of his shots.

We would prefer he go to a home with someone who has had dogs before and will give him time to adjust to a new home. Home without children would be best since he's not been around them before.

He is good with other dogs and cats. More than likely he will not engage (play) with another dog. Just not used to playing with others, but he would be ok with another dog.
