My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greenville SC ... Well hello there...my name is Valentino and yes, that’s Italian for “Dog of Love” ? I am a 2-3 year old Retriever mix but the only thing I want to retrieve is your heart ?? My smile and natural charm is only surpassed by my boundless energy so I would love to live with someone who likes to hike or run or who has a very playful and energetic dog such as myself to play with. I also love car rides and long walks on the beach ( just in case you have a beach house ;-) ) . I’m a lover so I get along with other dogs, cats, kids and most all other creatures on this beautiful earth.
At one point I had to have a little surgery to take care of a pocket of fluid that had built up on my elbow from laying on hard ground for a while but I don’t like to talk about my time in “the joint.” Luckily my charm and good looks got me pulled out and I’m ready to start afresh with a new life. I’m about 55 pounds, neutered (ahem, they made me put that part in there), up to date on my vaccines (of course), heartworm negative and microchipped, I am also house and crate trained
So if you want a life of love, kisses and unadulterated adoration “swipe right” for me, Valentino!!!
