My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dr. Doolittle (or “Doolie”, as his foster calls him) is an awesome, sweet, low maintenance kitty. He was in rough shape when we found him, with a fractured pelvis and other signs of abuse/trauma. But with a personality as sweet as his you’d never know. He’s recovering well, and is ready to find a loving forever home.

He enjoys getting pet and purrs a lot. He’s very low-energy and relaxed (some of this may be due to his recovery from his fractured pelvis, but we think it’s just his nature too), and loves to lounge around. He has a good appetite and loves wet food. He’s not very playful, but does like attention. He can get a little overstimulated at times and give little “love bites” when you may not expect them, but for the most part he’s very sweet and loving.

He would likely do well in a home with other low-energy cats, but would do well as an only-cat too. Because he can get a little overstimulated at times and has a very relaxed disposition, we wouldn’t recommend him in a home with young kids or a home that is too busy/active. This handsome guy will make a wonderful companion to the right family.
