Brownie and Rebel are an adorable father and son looking for their forever home. They were part of a group we took in after their owner threatened to release them outdoors. They lived in tiny plastic bins and we believe they seldom if ever were fed hay. These neutered boys have blossomed since their arrival and enjoy racing around their C&C cage!
Brownie is the dad and is a brown Agouti with a crest who is about a year and a half old. He is the bolder one and has become quite agreeable to getting head scratches. Rebel is cream, white and brown, and is about 8 months. He is extremely curious and he has learned to sit on top of his wooden box while looking very pleased to show you his trick.
Brownie and Rebel have an excellent appetite for their Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay, and they enjoy a variety of fresh vegetables. The boys love to eat and they have yet to meet a veggie that they won’t try! Brownie and Rebel need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes located in a room the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Mt. Airty, MD.
The adoption fee for Brownie and Rebel is $90 ($45 per neutered male). Are you interested in finding out more about adopting this sweet pair? Then please send an e-mail to guineapigs@smallangelsrescue.org. NOTE: We respond to all inquiries so please check your Spam folder.
