What a gorgeous girl!

Trixie is a small standard poodle girl who is shy and very cautious of new people. Especially men! She needs a home that is quiet, consistent and primarily female. And, someone willing to take time with her and be patient as she warms up to you. She would do well in a home with another standard poodle that would show her all is ok with the world as well as for someone her own size to play with. She is, after all, a young girl of about 2 1/2 years that loves to romp in the yard and play with her toys. She is super smart and just needs to build confidence as she experiences new situations.

Trixie is crate trained and is accustomed to sleeping in her crate at night. In fact, her crate is her security blanket in which she retreats when not sure and it will be adopted with her. Trixie has had some basic obedience training, is house-trained, loves to go for car rides and quiet walks. She is ok with cats but will chase them if they run. A home without kids is best. She is not sure of having her face and feet shaved and they must be hand-scissored. She is accepting of her body being clipped, however, and gets more comfortable with grooming with each session.
