My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shhhh...tiptoe slowly this way, it’s a big scary world for little Chipmunk! This 1-yr old softie was rescued by a good samaritan after learning he had been bounced from home to home and sold on Craigslist 3x in his short puppyhood. But now it's time for him to find that special someone who's in it to win it and show him how great his world can be!

Chipmunk is looking for someone who won't mind hand-feeding him some delicious chicken for a little while as you get to know one another. He is GREAT with other dogs, big and small (cats, too!), keeping to himself at first and eventually loosening up to play and snuggle. With a little time and patience, Chipmunk can bond to new people, loves to sleep in the bed, and especially enjoys neck scratches! He is currently being fostered in Arlington, VA and he's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to be home for good.
