Say “Hello” to Sammy the Schnauzer
This dynamic little fellow is a 10 year old pup that’s got a lot to offer. He came to his foster family after he wasn’t getting much attention from his previous owners and has since received a total makeover, taking Sammy from zero to hero. All it took to brighten his spirits was a grooming, a nail trim, a dental and a bit of love from his foster family. His foster family consists of 4 dogs and a cat, all of whom he gets along with amazingly. He’s been very playful with them and enjoys playing with soft, squeaky plush toys. When he’s all worn out for the evening, there’s nothing he enjoys more than his comfy dog bed where he can lounge about in a little luxury. Sammy has a perfect personality and rarely barks. He also has a great temperament and is potty trained.

If you’re lucky enough to get to spend some time with Sammy, you will notice that he does need a little special care. Sammy’s last dental led to him having most of his teeth being removed(leaving only 2 molars and 3 canines), as such, he does best with tiny kibble bites. Sammy also has a bit of difficulty with his vision, his left eye is blind and his right eye sees mostly shadows. This causes him a little difficulty with stairs. However, neither of these have been setbacks for Sammy, his positive attitude brightens the room and makes him a wonderful companion for almost anybody.
