Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born a little black Staffy in the bad side of Memphis,TN. I was left abandoned, tied to a grill in the ice and snow left to die.
When I was taken into a shelter and given food, water and a clean bed I thought things were going to change for the better. Little did I know, I was in county lockup and awaiting death row for a crime never committed.
Apparently they ran some medical test on me and I was diagnosed with “heartworms”. I became so depressed.
However, less than 24 hours of my death deadline , I heard I was given a stay of execution and transported to Knoxville, TN.
I was placed into a so called foster home. Honestly not sure what that meant but it was a cool stay for 8 months. I thought life had made a turn in the right direction as I was adopted 4 years ago by this really cool dude.
We were best friends. It was just him and me and it was great. That was until he decided he didn’t want the responsibility anymore. He wanted more freedom and felt our relationship was taking too much of his social life. Now, I’m back in foster care. I don’t really u see stand because I did nothing wrong.
I’m heathy, smart and my house mother says I am beautiful.
She even said she would keep me but her other fur kids and I sometimes have disagreements.
I honestly don’t like competing for attention. I love other dogs but a Pack of dogs can be a bit overwhelming and I become over simulated. I would be best in a calm home that provides me lots of exercise and guidance, as I’m a bit confused . I need a confident, firm but loving handler. I am small but muscular, so young children might get knocked down, so keep that in mind. I really going on hikes/walks it’s best things in the world to me.
I carve learning. I have so much love to give.
I’m looking for a forever long term home.
I was once my adopters therapy dog, now I’m the one needing support.
