Garfunkel has been with our group for far too long - unfortunately being an adult black cat sometimes means you get overlooked when people are searching for a younger, flashier model. But don't worry - we've told Funk we are just holding out for the PURRfect home. Funk is used to lots of other animal activity - in fact one of his favorite activities is cuddling up with his furry friends. He also appreciates human cuddles, loves his favorite spring toys, and will always be there for you to inspect your faucet post-shower.
Because Funk had such a rough start, he can still get nervous with too much attention and doesn't like being picked up or other rough handling. For this reason, we suspect he would do best in a home with adults only (no kids).
Funk is currently being fostered in a home with 2 dogs and lots of feline siblings in Athens, GA. Let us know if you want to meet him and possibly give this guy the chance he's been waiting so long for!
All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.
The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $100 for kittens (or 2 for $170); $85 for adult cats (or 2 for $150); and $50 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties. Please email cofaspets@gmail.com for more information.
