Oh Miss Scarlett! This gorgeous girl is practically perfect, and we told her that we’d help her find a home worthy of her! Here are 10 things Ms. Scarlett wants her forever family to know about her:

1. I am a Presa Canario, and I will be turning 6 years old soon.

2. My foster mom describes me an easy-going, happy, and extremely affectionate.

3. I love people. I don’t care if they’re small or grown-up, I just want to be around them. I would be happy in a home with or without children.

4. I’m friendly with big and small dogs, and it doesn’t matter if they’re boys or girls.

5. I get along just fine with cats, and wouldn’t mind living in a home with them.

6. I love to play with toys and take rides in the car, but most of all, I like to hang out and get loved on by the people around me!

7. Sometimes when nobody is around, I think it’s a good idea to “dig” in the furniture. I know it’s wrong, and I don’t do it all the time, but I will need to be crated whenever my new family leaves the house for longer than an hour in order to avoid unnecessary destruction.

8. I am housebroken, crate trained, and great on a leash.

9. I know basic and advanced obedience, including hand commands.

10. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
