Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT ME:
Say hello to handsome Harry, a 3 year old Mastiff boy! Harry is very smart and enjoys learning new tricks, and would love to find a family that will engage him in play and training.
WHAT I NEED IN A HOME:
Harry is a friendly, affectionate, easy-going guy who enjoys taking long walks, hanging with his people, and going on car rides. His foster mom tells us that he has been around dogs of all sizes and is curious but doesn’t have much interest in playing. He’d much rather be doing stuff with his humans! As far as cats go, we think that with a proper introduction, Harry would be fine in a home with felines.
Harry loves big people, and we believe that he’d do well in a home with kids older than 10, as long as they had some previous training or experience interacting with big dogs.
Harry has idiopathic seizure disorder, which means that we don't know why they happen or when they will occur. Harry has only had one seizure since he's been with us, and has started new medication that we hope will keep them away forever. However, his forever family must be ready to manage his condition for the rest of his life.
THE DETAILS:
Mr. H is housebroken, crate trained (but doesn’t love it), knows lots of command and is good on a leash. Harry is vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped.
Ready to give Harry the forever home of his dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
