Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This happy and entertaining little guy is Noopy, a 7 yr old West Highland Terrier. Noopy is everything a terrier should be: spunky, curious and independent. He has a friendly and lively nature that endears him to everyone! He is a great companion for families of all sizes and ages.
Noopy has been with his people since he was a puppy. In the last few months, many changes have occurred for them, making it harder and harder to give Noopy the attention he needs and deserves. He is often left alone very long hours and he doesn’t get the daily walks that are so important to him. It was a heart wrenching decision, but his human feels that Noopy is suffering now, and would be much better off in a new home. So, to give Noopy a happier life, his human is willing to part with him.
Noopy is an active and inquisitive little guy who really enjoys his walks and play sessions everyday. He isn’t too demanding though - a 30 - 40 minute walk twice a day is good for him. When he is out walking he is easy to handle on the leash and friendlier to other dogs and humans than many terriers. He is comfortable in the city, the suburbs and the country, but wherever it is - he would love a big fenced yard!
Westies make good watchdogs and Noopy will bark if he is startled by a noise. When he is finished barking at guests he will greet friends with a polite wag of the tail. He enjoys human company and he is very good with children.
For folks who want a hypo allergenic, low shedding pup, Noopy is a good choice. He requires regular brushing or combing and occasional trips to the doggie salon but he’s fairly low maintenance. Thanks to the texture of the Westie coat, mud and dirt brushes out was easily!
Noopy loves to be his around people, so he will be happiest in a home where his people are with him most of the time and who always keep him close. He’s not really a lap dog but it is important to him to be a loved and valued member of the family. He will be a wonderful and truly enjoyable addition!
Noopy sleeps well (loves sleeping in his little box) and he eats well. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered.
Adoption fee - $350.
