My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey arrived via Laredo where he was found as a small pup. No idea the circumstances. He had been there about 2 months until we brought him into our shelter. He was actually diagnosed with heartworms which is odd for puppies. So for 3 months he had to be confined to a crate. Now he is ready to go find a home.

Petey is very friendly to people and dogs, not so much cats. Because of his confinement, we are working on his socialization skills as well as his obedience skills. One of his favorite activites is to fetch and of course, play with his chew toys.
