Where do we start about how AWESOME Ruby is?
Ruby was rescued, pregnant, from a shelter. We knew she needed a safe and comfortable place to have her babies, and she had a willing foster to care for her and her babies so off she went, she's one of the lucky ones. She gave birth to 8 puppies on October 19th, 2017 and was a wonderful mother. Since then, all of her pups have been adopted, fully vetted and spayed/neutered. Now it's Ruby's turn.....
Fast forward a few months, and Ruby is fully vetted and spayed, and patiently waiting to find a forever home.
Ruby is about 2 years old, 51 pounds, and is a beautiful red-brindle color. She has short, sleek fur and doesn't shed much at all, if any. Ruby gets along with every dog she meets, small and large, and loves to play. She loves toys, chewies, stuffed toys, antlers, hooves, running in the yard, taking walks, you name it - she likes it, because THIS DOG loves everything and everyone. She's the welcome-wagon leader in her foster home, immediately making friends with all dogs that come in. Ruby, nicknamed "Ruby Shoes" by her foster mom, is honestly at the top of her list for well-behaved, amazing dogs. There's something special about her, possibly she's meant for bigger things like being a therapy dog or PTSD dog. Her happy and pleasant disposition is infectious, she's immediately liked by everyone that meets her.
We know there's a special home waiting for Ruby that will appreciate her perky and sweet personality. She's a diamond in the rough, she definitely won't disappoint whoever applies to adopt her.
