Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daphne Moon, cocker spaniel (female 6-7 years of age, buff color)
Here is Daphne's BIG wish: to find a cocker spaniel loving person, couple or family where she can be fully loved, protected and cherished for the rest of her life. To find a home where someone is around most of the day and where her new person(s) has lots of time for her. And someone who is familiar with the cocker spaniel breed. Daphne is very loving with adults and children of all ages.
Daphne IS NOT GOOD with other dogs OR CATS, and prefers a home as an only beloved dog (she's a Queen!). She is healthy, up-to-date on shots, active, and athletic (loves walks) and most likely will bond within short time. Daphne likes to be with her people (all of the time) and sleeps on the bed. Simply, she likes to be close. She has had a big dental and now has a healthy smile!
Daphne Moon was rescued from neglect and abandonment and is in foster care with Second Chance Dogs in Olympia. Daphne had cataract surgery and has perfect sight in one eye and has limited sight in the other. She is taking eye drops every day and thriving. She's due to go back to her eye veterinarian for another eye checkup. She gets around beautifully and this sweet Wigglebutt looks forward to meeting her new person or family!
For more information on Daphne, call Volunteer, Annemarie at 425 922 1325. To adopt Daphne Moon, an adoption application is requested along with references and a home visit. If you are interested in meeting Daphne Moon, please complete an application online at www.secondchancedogs.net. Adoption donation is $275.00. All funds go to dog care.
