Little Kit Kat, the pure miniature poodle is as sweet as her chocolate bar namesake.  Her main wish is to be close to her family members and have lots of lap and snuggle time.  She follows her foster family in the house and is not happy when alone.  She will bark and whine so condo or apartment living is not appropriate for her.  She would like her humans to be home a good part of the day and could live happily with another small compatible dog.   She has had a couple of accidents in the house but mostly does her business outside in the yard.  For a tiny girl, she trots along well on leash and enjoys walks around the neighborhood.  At bedtime she has settled nicely into her crate in the bedroom of her foster family and she sleeps quietly until they get up.

Recently Rosie had her vision checked by eye specialists who confirmed she has the onset of Retinal Atrophy which eventually can lead to blindness.  At present she has very adequate vision and will soon start on an antioxidant capsule which appears to delay the progression of visual issues.  So it is hoped that her adoptors are willing to do all that is possible to help her, bearing in mind that it is a progressive disorder.  The cost of this treatment is about a dollar a day.  Also she will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her coat in good condition.  Once you meet this little darling, she will steal your heart for sure.
