Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“CHIP” A BROWN MINIATURE POODLE PUPPY is now available for adoption. He was born August 10, 2017, is 12″ tall and weighs a healthy 13 pounds.
Miniature Poodles are the hard to find mid-sized Poodles; larger than the Toy and smaller than a Standard. As an adult, by AKC Standards of Perfection, this puppy will be more than 12″ tall and less than 15″ while weighing around 16 to 20 pounds.
This very pretty boy was tearfully surrendered to us from a lady whose health is failing and could no longer care for the two new Miniature Poodle puppy brothers she had purchased. Chip was also the younger, smaller and a mellow puppy. And as with all “pecking orders”, Chip was then being picked on and always the loser of fights between him and his brother. It was best that Chip have a home of his own. Thank you, Glenna for letting us help.
We call him “Chipper” as he certainly is a happy, fun loving puppy who greatly enjoys playing with toys, the little phantom puppy we have available for adoption and ALL of our other Poodles.
However, Chipper needs more confidence and socialization with people. He also needs obedience as he is reserved and not responding to new people or new environments. Treats and food are his favorite, so this smart Poodle puppy has quickly learned “sit”, but “come” and other basic commands are needed.
Yes, there is great potential for this puppy, as he is a very smart Poodle and food (treat) motivated. You will need to have past Poodle experience, the time to teach him obedience, confidence and the ability to keep up with a fun loving puppy boy.
Chipper is also quiet, easy going, loves to be silly with other easy going dogs; however he would be just fine by himself. Please, NO large dogs or children.
Chipper has been recently groomed, Vet checked healthy, wormed, shots are up to date and neutered. His adoption fee is 1 million, trillion, billion, zillion dollars. However, to the right family....
