Holly is a spayed female, about year and half old, up to date with all of her shots, Husky beauty who has recently lost eyesight. She loves her people, and other dogs, enjoys her walks in the neighborhood, on the beach and on the trails. She walks well on the leash with a little bit of guidance, and settles when in the car, and is house-trained.
She can be a bit shy at first around men, but comes around when given space and a bit of time to come around and show just how sweet she is. Holly has just discovered the joy of retrieving her food from a Kong and playing with puzzle toys. It is important that she gets her daily walks and exercise, otherwise she will keep wondering and walking around the house and yard and may run into things as she can’t see. Holly also loves to relax in her comfy bed near her people and be the beautiful princess that she is. Holly is an international rescue and has come a long way in search of a loving forever home. She and her sister were dropped off at Vafa Animal Shelter near Tehran/Iran. They were weak and in need of much TLC. Holly slowly lost her eyesight but otherwise gained her strength with the help of dedicated and loving shelter volunteers.
