Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi , My foster family calls me “Buddy the Bus” because I am so fat. To be honest, I weigh 117 pounds and the vet said I should weigh somewhere around 70 pounds. I can’t HELP it …some well-meaning people really loved me and they gave me so many treats and so much food. Yummm. I loved it and I didn’t want to hurt their feelings by not eating it. I am 4 to 5 years old, and I'm neutered. Another vet said I have something called PRA, so I really can’t see at all. That doesn’t bother me because I respond to voices and I am a happy, mellow fellow. I do really well and am totally sweet. I used to live with another dog and would be willing to do that again, but I get really nervous if another dog is in my face…you know what I mean? I shy away and even become defensive if another dog starts to get aggressive with me. Since I can’t see them, I can’t tell what they have in mind. Friend, works, foe, doesn’t. I prefer to be walked on lead or in a fenced in yard with activity. I would be fine with cats, if they stay out of my way. I am very dependant on my people and accept voice commands and instructions very well, going up and down steps, etc. So I desperately need a long term weight loss/exercise program. I LOVE car rides, am very gentle with food and treats, (oh, I forgot, I am not supposed to have treats …bummer.) I am good on lead and am not possessive or dominant in any way, just majorly over-treated. I enjoy being a couch potato in front of the TV with my people petting me, but I really want to lose (so to speak) the nick name of “Buddy the Bus.” I can be seen in Sinking Spring, PA…I love it here with the other dogs for now.
Buddy, your new Buddy
