I can be a bit shy in new situations and around new people, quick movements, and loud noises. Because of this, I need a home with children over the age of 10 who have doggy experience. I love to romp and play and am looking for a home with a fenced yard - no electric fences pretty please.
I am doing well with learning how to do my personal business outside - however, I'm not 100% there yet. I'm really good at using pee pads in the house though! I need a patient family who will use lots of gentle words and tasty treats to reinforce that I should be pottying outside.
My friends at NBS Animal Rescue are helping me to find the perfect fur-ever home. All of the dogs in our rescue are have different personalities and needs within an adoptive home. Not all of my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue have the same requirements, so if I’m not be the perfect fit for your family- be sure to check out my other doggy friends too! For me?
These are the things I fur-sure need in my fur-ever home!
- Family who is gone no longer than 5 hour periods.
- Children must be 10yrs or older.
- 100% fenced in yard - no electric fences please.
If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family please follow these steps:
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
