My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ninja is an approximately 1 year old catahoula lab mix, current on vaccines, neutered, and wheelchair bound. He was adopted at 8 weeks originally and completely perfect. At 9 months old Ninja experienced permanent paralysis of his hind quarters and since then has lived in a foster home. In March his foster family will be traveling and Ninja may find himself in a kennel once more-we want to prevent that! At his foster home Ninja loves to play with his doggy brothers, he loves to crash through the leaves in his cart. The resident cats are very timid of him, maybe it’s his wheels or maybe it’s his puppy energy but he doesn’t seem bothered by their lack of enjoyment, so a tolerant cat would be ideal. He has lived with children at his first home and has loved each one he has met since. Ninja is a dog of routine, love and energy. He is looking for a family to understand and accept his challenges-encouraging him to be a real dog and a family to enjoy life with!
