My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dayzee 1 year old German Shepherd Mix Good with dogs Cats unknown Good with kids Fostered in Spirit Lake, ID Separation anxiety Ever felt so uncomfortable with your surroundings that you feel nothing but panic and fear? That's what was going through my mind when I first entered the program with Power of the Paw. I was in a complete state of panic. I wouldn't even allow myself to take medications to calm myself down. Everything seemed completely irrational to me. I had just been rehomed again and I felt completely betrayed. After an initial fear period, I began learning how to cope with my anxiety. Foster mom has worked with anxious dogs like me before and knew just how to boost my confidence. She also got me started on some medication in order to help me along and boy, I have really responded beautifully to it. I'm a young, active girl who has so much potential. I bond very well to my pack leader and look to them when I need some confidence. I get along well with dogs but I might need someone as active as me to appreciate my energy. I haven't been around cats much but my easy to train personality makes it clear that teaching me things would be a piece of cake. I could be around kids too if they could handle being around my happy butt wiggles! I am crate trained and seem to be housebroken. I ride well in the car and will easily be able to be trained to be off leash. I'm ready for a home that won't give up on me. The love I will bring to your family will all be worth it. To meet me, please go to www.powerofthepaw.org and fill out the adoption application. Let's get this show on the road! ADOPTION FEE: $200 INCLUDES Spay, DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella, microchip, revolution and vet check.October 14, 2024, 12:23 am
