Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cane was brought into the shelter by a good Samaritan just before Christmas. The person knew that Cane and his two siblings had been roaming the neighborhood since they were puppies but was only able to catch one. Cane was painfully shy when he came to us but warmed up super quickly to both me and the female inmates who care for the dogs. He is very loyal and will bond hard to his new owner as he done with me. Cane is soft and quiet both in pubic and in the shelter. He walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car and takes treats gently from anyone who offers. Cane does well with other dogs but prefers the ladies over the males. He is never aggressive to a male dog but will put out a soft growl and turn his back to them when they come near. Most of all Cane has tons of charm and draws in people wherever he goes. He is naturally well behaved and avoids conflict. This boy is special, and believe me I have seen enough dogs to know special!
Cane currently resides in Bandera, TX. He can be transported to Oregon with Project Freedom Ride in early April. Please feel free to email me for more details.
