Teddy is a clever young German Wirehaired Pointer and very (very) FULL of energy - he does know some very basic commands (sit, down, wait), but would benefit from obedience training.
He's crated when he can't be supervised him, or no one is home. He's pretty social with strangers for the breed - he's done well with all people including children, but we strongly encourage close supervision of the breed with kids and strangers.
Teddy does well with the other dogs in his foster home. Although, he would much prefer "hunting" squirrels, birds, butterflies, and lizards over rough housing with the resident Labradors!
He loves to run - and FAST.
Teddy Boy will not be adopted to a home with cats or small animals. If you have breed specific experience and are looking for a classic GWP, come meet Teddy Boy!
