We could use some illumination over here, because we're in the dark about Shadow. This handsome 11 year old purebred Cocker Spaniel (gorgeous shade of black) was surrendered to an area shelter following a bite to an adult in the family. Shadow never showed aggression until a new 2 month old puppy joined the home. Perhaps the puppy's antics were too much for him or he simply felt usurped. Now in rescue, he's a sunny pleasure, so we don't know what to believe. We are inclined to think he will do just fine if placed in a calm environment (no puppies). He is a bit of an older gent now, so perhaps his tolerance for surprises is lower and he just needs a space to chill. Shadow is a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be treated to a dental cleaning as well as a professional grooming prior to going home. If you would like to adopt or foster Shadow, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com or visithttp://www.nyabandonedangels.com/, where you can complete and return an on-line application. Shadow says it's time to come out of the dark. The bright big world is waiting and he's ready to explore it with you!
