Meet Bruce ... otherwise known as "The Boss", as this handsome guy is a Springsteen fan. Our little Bruce has a Hungry Heart, having been turned into Animal Care and Control of NYC as an owner surrender. He has obviously not been treated well, as he will sometimes really cower, a sure sign of abuse. Bruce is a smaller sized purebred Beagle about 3 years old with beautiful hazel eyes. He is among the cutest Beagles we have ever seen and is really very handsome. Bruce is looking for an experienced, adult only Beagle home, where someone can help him feel safe again. It will not happen overnight, but he is already making good strides. Bruce is a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar.
