Who says the Cupcake Craze is over? We say it's just beginning! Meet Cupcake, an adorable 10 year old Cockapoo who has sadly been rendered blind due to retinal degeneration. Although she is otherwise a healthy girl (shy but sweet) her visual deficit prompted her family to surrender her to a kill pound. Of course we could not leave her there. Despite her blindness, Cupcake gets around ju st fine in reliance on her other senses (she can smell a bakery from at least a block away and will point you to the nearest bagel shop, provided you pile on the cream cheese). Cupcake has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. She has just been treated to a dental cleaning as well as a professional grooming and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home.
